In the following video I will show how to create a single Microsoft SQL Server View using 2 Microsoft Dynamics GP databases.
Someone reading my book asked me the following question:
Do you know or can point me in the right direction on how to join or union other company databases? For example we have 4 companies with separate databases and these queries will only pull from one company at a time

Great post. I wish I have access to SQL but I don’t. I have access to Excel and use power Query to create the connection to the many databases in GP. I create one connection for each database in GP in Excel using the same select command in each connection. I find this tedious in view of the number of databases we have [over 150].
My question is: Is there a way to create one connection which would connect to a list of databases in GP and using one SQL select command for all those DB included in the list? Your help would be appreciated.
Although I imagine it could be done. The complexity of doing this is beyond the scope of this blog. For this, you should consult a SQL person. Sorry I could not help.
